Job summary

Michael Page US is seeking a Commercial Superintendent to lead daily field operations on projects across the Los Angeles region. You will oversee subcontractors, manage sequencing, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery of ground-up and commercial construction.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in commercial construction, proven GC supervision experience, and strong leadership and scheduling skills. This is a growth-focused role with a rapidly expanding LA presence.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial construction experience.
• Experience managing subcontractors and multiple trades.
• Strong knowledge of construction schedules and sequencing.
• Ground-up construction experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily field operations.
• Coordinate and direct subcontractors and trade partners.
• Manage project sequencing and maintain the construction schedule.
• Conduct daily huddles and subcontractor coordination meetings.
• Review plans, specifications, shop drawings, and construction documents.
• Coordinate inspections and site logistics.
• Maintain project quality control standards.
• Identify and resolve field issues.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager regarding RFIs, submittals, change orders, and schedule.
• Enforce jobsite safety requirements and maintain a safe working environment.
