Job summary

Breakthrough MEP is seeking a proven Commercial Plumbing Project Manager to lead large, complex plumbing projects from start to finish. You will manage buyout, procurement, and field execution while coordinating with GCs, vendors, and owners.

Expect duties across planning, scheduling, and closeout, with a strong emphasis on contractual discipline and ownership. You will oversee Assistant PMs and field leaders, engage with general contractors, and ensure projects stay on budget and on schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum seven years of commercial construction PM experience with plumbing/mechanical focus.
• Experience turning budgets, schedules, and scope into executable plans.
• Strong ability to read plans, specs, and contract documents.
• Procore proficiency including RFIs, submittals, budgets, and change orders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; accountable leadership.
• Ability to travel to active sites and maintain a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from turnover to closeout with scope, budget, schedule, and risk ownership.
• Review contracts, clarifications, and plans before work starts.
• Convert handoffs into executable project plans with milestones and billing.
• Set expectations for team members and maintain operating cadence.
• Own buyout, procurement, and supplier negotiations, with risk controls.
• Coordinate BIM/shop drawings and resolve field clashes.
• Manage procurement, change events, and closeout documentation.
• Drive closeout with as-builts, manuals, and final billing.
