Benjamin Franklin Plumbing of Tyler, TX is seeking an experienced Commercial New Construction Plumber to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will install plumbing systems in commercial new construction projects and work independently while maintaining high-quality workmanship and safety standards.

The role requires a Journeyman license, ability to read blueprints, and readiness to travel to job sites; pay is based on experience with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Current Tradesman or Journeyman Plumbing License is required.
• Two years in tradesman or journeyman license holder.
• Experience in commercial new construction plumbing.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
• Knowledge of local plumbing codes and regulations.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Install commercial plumbing systems (water, sewer, gas) per plans.
• Install fixtures, drains, piping, and equipment per specifications.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and project specs.
• Perform rough-in and finish plumbing installations.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, and other trades on-site.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
