Job summary

Vertical Mechanical Group (VMG) is seeking an experienced Commercial Plumbing Foreman to lead field crews on large-scale commercial construction projects across the DMV region. You will coordinate daily plumbing operations, manage manpower and productivity, and uphold safety and quality standards to keep installations on schedule.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on plumbing expertise, strong crew leadership, and the ability to plan work, solve field challenges, and deliver high-quality

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of commercial plumbing or piping experience.
• At least 2 years leading plumbing crews or in Foreman/Lead role.
• Ability to read and interpret plumbing, mechanical drawings and specs.
• Experience with domestic water, sanitary, storm and specialty piping.
• Familiarity with coordinating with multiple trades on active projects.
• OSHA 10 or 30 preferred; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise daily activities of plumbing crews (2–7 members).
• Plan, sequence work to maintain project schedules and productivity.
• Read and interpret plumbing and construction drawings; ensure conformance.
• Coordinate with other trades and project teams; RFIs and scope changes.
• Monitor safety and quality; enforce VMG safety programs.
• Track production and labor performance; manage equipment usage.
