Job summary
Calvert Masonry Inc. in Manassas, VA seeks an experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent to lead high-profile masonry, concrete, and restoration projects on DMV-area sites.
You will supervise field operations, ensure safety compliance, and coordinate with the Project Manager and Foreman to start and execute projects on schedule. This role requires strong reading of architectural drawings, a background in masonry techniques, OSHA certification, and the ability to manage multiple sites
Qualifications
- Commercial masonry and concrete field experience required.
- Ability to read architectural drawings, structural plans, and specs.
- OSHA 30-Hour Certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.
Responsibilities
- Oversee field operations on multiple commercial masonry projects.
- Coordinate with Project Manager and Foreman to ensure schedule and safety.
- Supervise mock-ups, quality, and interface with other trades.
- Inspect safety, manage manpower and equipment, and monitor cash-flow impacts.
- Maintain relationships with General Contractors and field staff.
