Jewett City Savings Bank is seeking a Senior Commercial Loan Officer to grow and service commercial loan relationships in Connecticut and Rhode Island. Based in a branch, this role requires travel within the market area and does not offer remote or hybrid arrangements.

The position involves developing client bases, negotiating terms, and coordinating with credit analysts to ensure proper risk rating and compliance with policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of progressive commercial lending experience.
• Understanding of CRE and C&I lending and business financial statements.
• Strong analytical skills and knowledge of the business credit process.
• Excellent written and oral communication; detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Grow and manage a commercial loan portfolio up to $9,500,000 per borrower.
• Develop and service commercial loan relationships in CT and RI; travel within market area.
• Assess borrower needs and structure loans with credit analyst; present to lending authority.
• Monitor financial condition and credit reviews; handle renewals and new requests.
