Qualifications

• 4+ years of supervisory experience in a large commercial bank or related financial institution.
• Direct experience in commercial loan insurance operations or related function preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises a team of insurance associates responsible for pre-closing and post-closing insurance functions, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant processing.
• Oversees pre-closing insurance review for commercial loan transactions to meet policy and standards.
• Manages flood zone determinations and flood insurance review and approval per flood regulations.
• Directs post-close insurance maintenance and coordinates with the tracking vendor for adequate coverage across loans.
• Manages force placement processes, including obtaining renewal certificates and posting charges to accounts per policy.
• Reviews ledger entries for force placement activity and insurance proceeds for accuracy and reconciliation.
• Provides guidance to partners on insurance requirements and bank standards.
