Job summary

Bank of Utah is seeking a Commercial Loan Documentation Specialist II in Ogden, UT. The role focuses on evaluating loan requests for compliance, preparing commercial loan documents, and ensuring complete, accurate documentation before submission to branches.

You will conduct pre-documentation reviews, pre-funding reviews for larger loans, and verify signing authorities across loan structures, including complex loans.

Qualifications

• Experience preparing loan documents and documents review.
• Familiarity with HMDA, CRA, Flood Act and related regulations is preferred.
• Ability to identify proper loan structure and signing authority.
• Strong analytical, oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare loan documents with limited supervision for various loan types.
• Review loan files for completeness and compliance with Bank policy and regulations.
• Conduct pre-documentation reviews for compliance with underwriting standards.
• Perform pre-funding review for loans over $250,000 and authorize disbursement.
• Verify signatures and documentation for loans over $25,000; ensure completeness.
