Job summary

Highland Consulting Group is seeking a Commercial Loan Documentation Specialist for a large regional bank in Southern Indiana. The role focuses on administering the creation, closing and review of loan documentation and collateral perfection.

You will handle loan files, UCC filings, and bundle documents while liaising with loan officers to ensure timely closings and compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of loan documentation and closing experience with a focus on standard real estate and commercial transactions.
• Demonstrated understanding of flood procedures and flood insurance.
• Ability to assess and understand structures related formation documents for appropriate permissions and approvals.
• Ability to communicate professionally in person, in writing, and over the telephone.
• Ability to review and analyze title documents to determine the Bank’s lien position per loan approval criteria.
• Experience with LaserPro, Fiserv, Abrigo/Sageworks preferred

Responsibilities

• Administer processes for transmittal, review, retention and monitoring of loan documents in the commercial lending portfolio, including, but not limited to:
• Review Processor tab of Commercial Documentation Checklist to ensure a complete loan file.
• Create loan document package for assigned loans that comply with approved terms and conditions.
• Complete Commercial Documentation Checklist to ensure accuracy of loan documents.
• Demonstrate expertise with loan documentation language and interact with loan officers to review concerns and edits.
• Submit accurate loan closing packages to Lending Quality Assurance for final review to meet closing dates.
