Job summary

Symicor Group is seeking a Commercial Loan Processor in the Houston area to manage the preparation and accuracy of commercial loan packages using bank systems and procedures. The role involves processing loan products, ensuring complete documentation, and coordinating with loan officers for timely closings.

The position offers a salary up to $75K with a full benefits package and is not remote. Candidates should have 2+ years in loan document processing and strong accuracy in data entry.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience in commercial loan document preparation and/or document processing.
• Ability to prioritize work on complex loan transactions to meet scheduled loan closing dates.
• Knowledge of compliance requirements for commercial borrowers.
• Knowledge of state and federal lending and compliance laws and bank policies.
• Highly accurate data entry and proficiency with common PC applications.

Responsibilities

• Process commercial loan requests for both new and renewal loans using prescribed procedures and software.
• Prepare loan documents including Promissory Note, Business Loan Agreement, Construction Loan Agreement, and related items.
• Review loan profiles to confirm authority and ensure completeness of underwriting documentation.
• Obtain additional documentation such as liens, title work, and appraisal when needed.
• Balance transactions and prepare general ledger tickets and cashier’s checks.
• Prepare wire forms, wire tickets, and authorize wires for loan proceeds.
• Handle post-closing duties and coordinate with title company when required.
• Support loan operations tasks as needed.
