Job summary

Peoples Security Bank & Trust seeks an experienced Loan Documentation Specialist to support commercial loan processing and closing activities. You will verify loan information, ensure completeness, and coordinate with lenders and support staff to prepare accurate final documents.

The role requires in-depth knowledge of loan documentation standards, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Word, Excel, and LaserPro. A minimum of five years in banking/loan closing is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of experience in banking/loan closing.
• Strong communication and PC skills including Word and Excel.
• Knowledge of loan documentation requirements (LaserPro preferred).
• Ability to review and organize loan documentation and ensure accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Verifies all loan information for small business and commercial lending in preparation for final loan documentation.
• Verifies loan approvals to loan policies.
• Reviews loan applications for completeness and adherence to standards.
• Reviews document preparation folders for completeness and accuracy.
• Informs lenders and admin support of missing information and discrepancies.
• Verifies loan-to-value calculations for accuracy and reporting.
