Job summary

Orionplacement in Phoenix seeks a skilled commercial litigator to own high-stakes matters and collaborate with business owners on complex disputes. This hybrid role offers direct client exposure and meaningful courtroom work.

Active Arizona Bar license, 3+ years of commercial litigation, and hands-on trial experience are required. You will draft pleadings, supervise depositions, and shape case strategy while maintaining client relationships.

Qualifications

• Active Arizona Bar license in good standing.
• 3+ years of directly relevant commercial litigation experience.
• Trial experience required.
• Strong legal research, writing, motion practice, and advocacy skills.
• Experience with discovery, depositions, hearings, and case preparation.
• Strong client communication and professional judgment.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment with regular Phoenix office and client interaction.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial and business litigation matters through key stages of the litigation lifecycle
• Develop case strategy with a practical understanding of each client's business objectives
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and other litigation documents
• Handle depositions, hearings, negotiations, and other contested proceedings
• Prepare cases for trial and actively participate in courtroom proceedings
• Conduct legal research and develop persuasive written and oral arguments
• Communicate directly with clients and clearly explain complex legal issues and strategic options
• Collaborate with attorneys and staff while independently driving assigned matters forward
