RemotePeople is seeking an Associate Attorney in Phoenix to lead complex commercial litigation matters from inception through trial, with direct client contact and hands-on deposition and motion practice.

You will work alongside senior attorneys to shape litigation strategy, manage a caseload, and develop client relationships that may grow into business opportunities. Arizona bar eligibility is required or pending admission.

Formación

• J.D. from an accredited law school; active Arizona bar license (or eligibility for admission)
• 3+ years of commercial litigation experience at a law firm or in-house
• Demonstrated experience with one or more of: contract disputes, business torts, real estate or construction disputes, or shareholder matters
• Strong academic credentials and excellent legal writing
• Deposition and court experience strongly preferred
• Ability to manage a caseload independently while working collaboratively with senior attorneys and clients

Responsabilidades

• Draft pleadings, dispositive motions, briefs, and client‑facing advisory memos
• Take and defend depositions
• Represent clients in Arizona state and federal court, including hearings, mediations, and arbitrations
• Manage discovery workflows, including e-discovery
• Conduct legal research and help shape litigation strategy alongside senior attorneys
• Build direct client relationships and take part in business development as your practice grows

We’re partnering with a well-regarded commercial litigation practice in Phoenix to identify their next Associate Attorney. This firm represents businesses across a wide range of complex commercial disputes and is looking for someone who can take real ownership of a docket from day one.

About the Role

The team handles commercial and business litigation from case inception through trial: contract disputes, business torts, real estate and construction disputes, partnership and shareholder disputes, and complex multi-party matters in Arizona state and federal court. Associates here get direct client contact early, hands‑on deposition and motion practice, and a clear path toward managing matters independently rather than staying buried in document review.
