Trend Personnel Pty Ltd in Dallas, Texas is seeking an experienced Civil/Commercial Litigation Legal Assistant to support multiple attorneys handling sophisticated disputes involving businesses and executives.

This role requires five years of litigation support, direct commercial or business litigation experience, and hands-on e-filing with Texas state and federal courts. You will independently draft pleadings, manage deadlines, and work in a fast-paced in-office environment.

Qualifications

• Five years of litigation legal assistant or paralegal experience
• Three years of direct commercial or business litigation experience
• Hands-on eFileTexas/TexFile and PACER/CM-ECF filing experience
• Working knowledge of the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure and federal local rules
• Ability to independently draft pleadings, discovery, motions, subpoenas, notices, and correspondence

Responsibilities

• Draft, revise, format, proofread, and file pleadings, motions, discovery, subpoenas, briefs, notices, and correspondence
• Coordinate electronic filings in Texas state and federal courts
• Calculate, calendar, and monitor court and procedural deadlines
• Support multiple attorneys and manage competing assignments
• Maintain attorney calendars and coordinate hearings, depositions, mediations, meetings, travel, and court appearances
• Organize case files and assist with discovery and document production
• Prepare tables of contents and authorities
• Prepare deposition, hearing, mediation, and trial materials
• Assist with trial notebooks, exhibits, and courtroom support
• Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, courts, experts, and vendors
• Assist with billing, expense reports, and other administrative responsibilities
• Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
