Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active license to practice in Maryland.
• 5+ years of business litigation experience.
• Strong background in commercial litigation, including contract disputes and business torts.
• Excellent writing, research, and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage a caseload independently and mentor junior colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of business litigation from pre-suit through trial, including strategy, discovery, motions, and settlements.
• Represent clients in disputes involving contracts, partnerships, shareholder issues, business torts, and related matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation documents.
• Conduct depositions and represent clients in court appearances, hearings, and arbitrations.
• Develop and manage client relationships, providing strategic counsel on litigation risk and business objectives.
• Collaborate with partners and associates on case strategy and staffing.
• Mentor junior associates as needed.
