Job summary

E&S Carrier Company is seeking an experienced Senior Underwriter to underwrite new and renewal E&S business, including complex risks, in Phoenix, AZ. You will mentor junior underwriters, guide risk selection, and build strong broker relationships while partnering with product and market teams to drive profitability and growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Senior Underwriting experience within E&S / Excess & Surplus Lines.
• Strong technical underwriting and risk selection experience.
• Proven ability to manage a profitable book and develop broker relationships.
• Experience mentoring or supporting the development of other underwriters.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; insurance designations are a plus
