Job summary

CWA Recruiting is seeking an experienced risk management professional to partner with large commercial clients in New Jersey. You will oversee renewals, coverage evaluation, policy adjustments, audits, and claims management, ensuring superior client service.

The role requires 10+ years in large accounts within a brokerage, a NJ Property & Casualty license, and strong knowledge of coverages like GL, Property, Auto, WC, Umbrella, Cyber, and Specialty lines. An Applied Epic background is preferred.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience managing large commercial accounts in real estate, construction, law firms, and transportation within a brokerage.
• College degree is required; professional insurance designations are preferred.
• Property & Casualty license in New Jersey is required; licenses must be current.

Responsibilities

• Act as a reliable risk management partner to large commercial clients, overseeing renewals, coverage evaluation, policy adjustments, audits and claims management.
• Develop and deliver comprehensive proposals and analyses for clients and prospects.
• Maintain deep knowledge of coverages including General Liability, Property, Auto, Workers’ Compensation, Umbrella/Excess, Cyber, and Specialty lines.
• Build relationships with insurers and work with underwriters to secure favorable terms.
• Oversee marketing and placement for new and renewal accounts.
• Stay informed about market trends, regulations, and new risks impacting operations.
• Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to best practices within the department.
• Collaborate with Producers, Account Executives, and Claims teams to deliver seamless service.
