SolomonEdwardsGroup, LLC is seeking a Commercial Lines Insurance - Manager in Princeton, NJ (ON SITE). This role oversees the commercial insurance portfolio, develops the service team, maintains client and carrier relationships, and supports sales and retention strategies. A senior leader or Sr.

Account Executive with supervisory experience is welcome to apply. The position requires 10+ years in commercial lines, a bachelor’s or equivalent, and an active license.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience in business/insurance/risk management.
• 10+ years of commercial lines insurance experience, including account management or underwriting exposure.
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Active insurance license required (or ability to obtain within a defined timeframe).
• Designations such as CPCU, ARM, or CIC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage the commercial lines service team to ensure high-quality client service and delivery.
• Maintain accountability for client relationships, retention, satisfaction, and coverage optimization.
• Oversee renewal processes, coverage reviews, policy placements, and endorsements across commercial lines (General Liability, Property, Auto, WC, Umbrella).
• Partner with producers and leadership to support new business development, account expansion, and revenue growth.
• Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing with carrier partners to secure optimal coverage.
• Serve as a technical resource on complex risks, coverage structures, and market trends.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards.
• Monitor workflows and performance metrics to drive efficiency.
• Support training and development to enhance team knowledge and client-facing capabilities.
• Collaborate on client communications, reporting, and strategic initiatives.
