Job summary

SolomonEdwards seeks an experienced Sr. Commercial Lines Account Executive in Melville, NY for a hybrid role, handling a designated middle market to large commercial book and driving renewal strategies with carriers and internal teams.

The ideal candidate has 8–10 years of P&C experience, strong relationship management skills, and a Bachelor’s degree preferred. In-office 3x per week plus a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of Property & Casualty (P&C) experience.
• Experience managing large, sophisticated accounts.
• Hybrid role with in-office 3x weekly.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for assigned commercial insurance clients.
• Maintain a designated book of business, accountable for growth, retention, and client satisfaction.
• Manage renewal processes for complex accounts and present renewal options.
• Deliver consultative risk management and insurance program guidance to clients.
• Coordinate with carriers, underwriters and internal teams to optimize terms and coverage.
