Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Senior Account Manager for Commercial Lines. This remote-friendly role supports the Eastern and Central Time Zones, with on-site consideration near branch networks as needed.

You will manage a book of business, lead the account team, and ensure accurate policy administration, billing, and renewals. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in account management within insurance, active licensing, and strong analytical and customer-service skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of account management experience or 7+ years in insurance
• Active licensing required; CIC or similar designation preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business, ensuring retention and supporting new business
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities
• Serve as a subject matter expert for the account management team
• Maintain policy expirations and renewals
• Monitor accounts receivable and collect outstanding balances
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms
• Ensure timely completion of activities and workload status communication
• Deliver proactive service and ensure policy compliance
