Job summary

Florence Bank is seeking a Senior Commercial Loan Specialist for the Main Office in Florence, MA. This role handles the loan origination process from commitment through closing, ensuring documentation quality and regulatory compliance, while coordinating with customers, lenders, and attorneys.

Responsibilities include managing multiple loans, meeting deadlines, and supporting Lenders with closing packages. A 1–3 year banking background and strong communication skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years of banking experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Demonstrated proficiency with technology.
• Good analytical skills and high attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task and reprioritize to meet deadlines.
• Commercial lending and loan documentation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages the proper delivery of commercial documents from commitment to closing.
• Ensures loan documentation quality and regulatory compliance.
• Interacts with commercial loan customers, lenders and attorneys.
• Provide administrative support to Commercial Lenders and team members.
• Gather information for loan input and document package preparation.
• Coordinate with third-party guarantors (SBA, MassBDC) for documentation.
