Job summary

Texas Business Lenders Group in Fort Worth is seeking an experienced Commercial Lending Operations Manager to oversee the end-to-end loan documentation and closing process for commercial loans across our client credit unions. You will lead a staff, ensure compliance with credit terms and regulatory requirements, and coordinate with lenders, attorneys, and title companies to ensure accurate, complete files.

The role is based on-site in Fort Worth, TX, with Monday–Friday hours, and offers

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Legal Studies, or a related field required.
• 7+ years of experience with complex commercial and commercial real estate loans.
• Experience in Texas preferred; includes loan documentation, due diligence and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to review and interpret moderately complex loan documents.
• Supervisory or mentoring experience preferred.
• Experience reviewing loan documentation and closing requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced lending environment.
• Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end loan documentation and closing for new commercial loans, renewals, extensions, modifications, and other credit transactions.
• Lead, mentor, and train loan documentation staff; review work and perform quality-control.
• Review loan files and pre-closing checklists for completeness before closing and loan booking.
• Review attorney-prepared loan documents for accuracy and consistency with terms.
• Track closing conditions and ensure documentation is requested; follow up on outstanding items.
• Maintain accurate tracking of loan documentation, covenants, and post-closing requirements.
• Prepare lien releases and maintain record-retention files; retrieve archived loan files as needed.
• Serve as a resource to lenders and internal stakeholders on documentation, compliance, and operational procedures.
• Process tax escrow payments and provide backup support for loan servicing.
