Job summary

Magnifi Financial is seeking an experienced Commercial Loan Officer to develop, grow, and service commercial relationships including large, complex loans and government-sponsored programs. The role emphasizes underwriting, structuring, and closing commercial accounts, with strong networking to expand the member base.

The candidate will analyze financials, present credit packages, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maximize returns while managing risk.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Fifteen years of commercial lending experience or equivalent knowledge and skills gained from related experience.

Responsibilities

• Solicits, negotiates, underwriting, and coordinates the closing of large, complex commercial real estate loans, commercial and industrial loans, and SBA loans.
• Performs offsite visits for new and existing members.
• Assists members and lending staff with government and third-party sponsored programs (e.g., SBA, FSA).
• Reviews financial information with members and conducts credit presentations, financial analysis, and risk ratings.
