Job summary

Magnifi Financial Credit Union in Minnesota seeks an experienced Commercial Banking professional to develop, grow, and service complex business loan and deposit relationships. You will underwrite, structure, and close large transactions, including government-sponsored programs, for new and existing members.

The role requires deep knowledge of commercial lending, CRE, and SBA lending, coupled with strong networking skills to expand the loan portfolio and member base.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or related field.
• Fifteen years of commercial lending experience or equivalent knowledge.
• Notary Public designation within 3 months of start date (desired) and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Solicit, negotiate, underwrite, and coordinate closing of large, complex commercial loans including CRE and C&I loans.
• Source SBA loans and refer government-sponsored programs in line with lending policies.
• Maintain and expand a complex commercial portfolio to maximize ROE and asset growth.
• Provide guidance on credit presentations, financial analysis, and risk ratings.
