Job summary

Magnifi Financial Credit Union is seeking a Commercial Banking Associate to collaborate with the Commercial Banking Officer and teams to service diverse commercial portfolios. You will gather documents, monitor lending files, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.

You will assist with loan requests, extensions, and covenant monitoring while maintaining strong member relationships across branches and channels.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience.
• Three years of commercial banking experience in a financial institution preferred, or equivalent knowledge and skills from related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist commercial members in loans, deposits, and services in person.
• Communicate loan, deposit, and service status to members and colleagues.
• Maintain CBO deposit/loan portfolios and lending files.
• Input loan requests, renewals, and annual reviews into the lending system.
• Collect financials and documentation from members for loan requests.
• Assist with covenant monitoring and notify lenders of violations.
• Prepare and mail proposal/commitment letters and adverse actions.
• Order and review title work, appraisals, and environmental risk assessments.
