Job summary

Facilities Management, operating as a Tech24 Company, is seeking a Senior Hot & Cold Technician to diagnose, maintain, and repair a wide range of commercial kitchen equipment in Indianapolis and surrounding areas. You will drive a company vehicle, handle various heating and refrigeration systems, and mentor junior techs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial hot-side and/or refrigeration service experience.
• EPA Universal Certification preferred.
• Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to travel throughout the service area.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Experience mentoring other technicians.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial cooking equipment (ovens, fryers, steamers, griddles, warmers).
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair commercial refrigeration systems (walk-ins, reach-ins, prep tables, ice machines).
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure safe, efficient equipment operations.
• Document service calls, parts used, labor hours in company system.
• Communicate repair status, recommendations, and timelines to customers.
• Manage truck inventory to ensure proper parts and tools are stocked.
• Respond to service calls in a timely and professional manner.
• Represent the company with professionalism while delivering high-quality customer service.
• Follow all safety regulations and company policies.
• Participate in ongoing technical training and professional development.
