Facilities Management – A Tech24 Company in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Senior Commercial Hot & Cold Technician to diagnose, maintain, and repair a wide range of commercial cooking, refrigeration, and HVAC equipment. You will drive a company vehicle to customer sites and deliver high-quality service.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of field experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to mentor junior technicians.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial hot-side and/or refrigeration service experience.
• EPA Universal Certification preferred.
• Mentor and support less experienced technicians.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills across commercial foodservice and refrigeration equipment.
• Ability to travel throughout the assigned service area.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays on an on-call rotation.
• Must possess standard industry hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial cooking equipment (ovens, fryers, steamers, griddles, warmers).
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair commercial refrigeration systems (walk-ins, reach-ins, prep tables, ice machines).
• Perform preventative maintenance and document service calls, parts used, labor hours, and customer interactions.
• Communicate repair status, recommendations, and timelines to customers.
• Manage truck inventory to ensure proper parts and tools are stocked.
• Respond to service calls in a timely and professional manner.
• Represent the company with professionalism and high-quality service.
• Follow all safety regulations and company policies.
• Participate in ongoing technical training and professional development.
