Job summary

Paylocity in Springfield, MA is seeking a Commercial Kitchen Equipment/Hot Side Technician to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain a broad range of commercial cooking equipment on-site. Candidates should have 5+ years of experience, OSHA 10, and CFESA certification preferred; a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and written.
• Ability to read/interpret electrical schematics.
• Ability to read/interpret blueprints.
• Must participate in on-call rotation for emergency service.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, repair and maintain a broad spectrum of commercial gas, electric, and steam equipment including ovens, fryers, steam systems and prep equipment.
• Troubleshoot issues and perform preventative maintenance.
• Work with management guidelines and existing procedures to complete tasks.
• Be comfortable using smartphones/tablets and basic software.
• Assist with office tasks such as collection calls, shipping/receiving as needed.
