Job summary

Wallace Electric Company is seeking a Commercial & Industrial Electrical Superintendent to oversee all field electrical operations on commercial and industrial construction projects. You will lead crews, coordinate subcontractors, manage materials, and ensure safety, schedule, and budget alignment to project specs and codes.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in commercial/industrial electrical construction and 3+ years in supervisory roles, with strong leadership and communication to mentor

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical school or electrical trade program preferred.
• Valid state Journeyman or Master Electrician license preferred.
• OSHA 30 certification strongly preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• 10+ years of experience in commercial and industrial electrical construction.
• 3+ years of supervisory or superintendent experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and mentor electricians, apprentices, and subcontractors.
• Interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and scope to plan field activities.
• Create look-ahead schedules and coordinate manpower needs.
• Enforce company policies, safety rules, and jobsite standards.
• Coordinate scheduling for inspections, utility companies, and equipment vendors.
• Maintain daily logs, timecards, and field paperwork; support turnover documentation.
