Job summary

Kids for the Future in Denver seeks an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join the team. The ideal candidate can independently troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial heating and cooling systems while delivering high-quality workmanship and customer service.

Primary duties include servicing rooftop, package, split systems, boilers, chillers, and related controls. You will document service calls, follow safety codes, and identify opportunities for system

Qualifications

• 3+ years commercial HVAC service experience preferred.
• EPA 608 certification required.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work independently and manage service calls efficiently.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC systems.
• Service rooftop units, package units, split systems, heat pumps, boilers, chillers, and other commercial equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, and controls-related issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance and identify potential equipment failures.
• Complete system start-ups, inspections, repairs, and equipment replacements.
• Accurately document service calls, repairs, materials, and recommendations.
• Communicate professionally with customers, building owners, facility managers, and contractors.
• Identify opportunities for system improvements and additional repair work.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow company safety procedures and applicable codes and regulations
