Woodward Inc. is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician for the Rock Cut Campus in Loves Park, IL. The role involves hands-on installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial HVAC systems, with emphasis on safety and quality workmanship.

The position supports both Level II and Level 3 responsibilities, including diagnostics, preventive maintenance planning, and mentoring junior technicians as needed. A strong foundation in safety and regulatory compliance is essential.

Formación

• EPA 608 certification is required for handling refrigerants.
• Journeyman HVAC experience is preferred.
• Proficient in diagnosing and repairing commercial HVAC units.
• Experience with large-scale systems (chillers/boilers) a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Install, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC systems per specs.
• Perform regular preventative maintenance on rooftop units, air handlers, chillers and VAV systems.
• Diagnose HVAC issues and implement effective solutions.
• Collaborate with team to ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Document work, maintenance logs, and compliance in the system.
