Air Conditioning Innovative Solutions, Inc. in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Commercial HVAC Service Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair complex HVAC systems in diverse facilities.

The role requires 7–10 years of experience, an EPA Universal, Texas ACR, and TDLR registrations, and the ability to read wiring diagrams. You will work independently and coordinate with customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7–10 years of commercial HVAC experience.
• Associate's degree, or equivalent experience and training.
• Valid driver's license, EPA Universal, Texas ACR, and TDLR registrations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair centrifugal chillers, large RTU, and commercial HVAC systems.
• Troubleshoot air flow, building pressure, and VAV systems.
• Trace complex electrical systems and perform field repairs as needed.
• Ensure safe, clean work environments and proper PPE usage.
• Coordinate with Service Coordinator for parts, subcontractors, and labor.
• Communicate diagnostics clearly to clients and team.

Commercial HVAC Technician

ACIS, Inc. is currently hiring for a COMMERCIAL HVAC SERVICE TECHNICIAN.

THE OPPORTUNITY

You will help maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC equipment on commercial office buildings, healthcare facilities, industrial plants, data centers, and critical cooling facilities. Technician III is a seasoned senior-level commercial technician that brings the ability to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair Centrifugal chillers, large tonnage package units, built up DX split systems, air- and water-cooled scroll, reciprocating, and screw chillers. Ability to read and understand wiring diagrams. Conduct work exhibiting a professional demeanor and tactful and courteous communication with a diverse client base. Working independently, you will also:

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair various HVAC systems including Centrifugal chillers, large tonnage RTU, Water- and Air-cooled Chillers (Reciprocating, Scroll and Screw any tonnage), Cooling Towers, Split systems (including large built-up DX split systems), SCUDs, Pumps, Variable frequency drives, air compressors and air dryers
• Troubleshoot air flow, air distribution, building pressure, and VAV systems
• Trace out and troubleshoot complex electrical systems
• Teardown semi-hermetic compressors and perform in-field top end repairs or determine reasons for failure
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment, including the proper use of PPE
• Maintain an organized and clean company vehicle
• Manage assigned projects, including coordinating with Account Managers and Service Coordinator for parts, subcontractors, and labor
• Arrange and communicate daily schedule with Service Coordinator
• Coordinate and maintain company-issued tools and equipment
• Complete accurate timecards, service activities, and inspection reports
• Collaborate with other team members, including Service Coordinators and Service Supervisors, to proactively anticipate and develop solutions to client problems
• Demonstrate professional craftsmanship and pride in your work
• Articulate diagnostics and resolutions in communications and correspondence with clients and team
• Work safely following industry standards
