Job summary

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. is seeking a Commercial HVAC Technician to inspect, test, and balance HVAC systems in commercial and industrial buildings. You will work with chillers, cooling towers, and roof-top units, and assist with system startups and commissioning.

The role requires at least 5 years’ experience, strong customer service, and ability to train customers on equipment use. On-site work with on-call/overtime availability is expected.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years’ experience in Commercial HVAC.
Proficient in Outlook, Microsoft Word and Excel.
Universal Refrigerant Certification.
Valid driver’s license.
Excellent customer service experience.
Available to perform scheduled on-call & overtime duties.

Responsibilities

Inspect, test, adjust, and balance heating, cooling, and ventilating systems in commercial/industrial buildings.
Inspect and service chillers, cooling towers, and roof-top units.
Troubleshoot and diagnose issues; replace compressors and faulty parts as needed.
Coordinate with dispatch, sales, and senior staff on job status.
Train customers and contractors on equipment use and safe operation.
Lead start-up and commissioning projects and supervise installation teams.
