Job summary

HTS Engineering Ltd. seeks a Senior Commercial HVAC Technician to diagnose, repair and maintain climate control systems for commercial facilities in the Houston area. You will lead installations, supervise crews, and ensure safe, accurate service records using mobile tech and a work-order system.

Proficiency with VRF, AHU/MHU, cooling towers and BAS controls is essential. Required: 7+ years HVAC, 3+ years chiller and boiler experience, EPA Universal Certification, and strong client-relations

Job description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF A SENIOR COMMERCIAL HVAC TECHNICIAN:

• Maintain/Diagnose/Repair a variety of climate control chillers, boilers, and commercial refrigeration systems
• Work on VRF systems, VAV Boxes, Split Systems, Cooling towers, AHUs & MHUs, BAS Controls, and other commercial systems
• Ability to lead a team through commercial HVAC installations of varying sizes and complexity
• Safely utilize equipment following appropriate protocols and procedures
• Keep accurate records of service visits, maintenance tasks, and equipment installations
• Maintain truck stock and inventory within company guidelines
• Develop and maintain client relationships
• Participate in client meetings when required
• Utilize mobile technology for efficient communication and real-time reporting
• Actively interface with a work order management system
• Stay current on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in HVAC systems
• Other tasks as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS OF A SENIOR COMMERCIAL HVAC TECHNICIAN:

• 7+ years of HVAC experience
• 3+ years of chiller experience.
• 3+ years of boiler experience.
• EPA Universal Certification
• Strong mechanical aptitude with a keen eye for detail
