Job summary

TP Mechanical Contractors is seeking a skilled HVAC technician with at least 5 years of commercial experience in plumbing, HVAC, and refrigeration. The role requires reading blueprints, performing repairs on rooftop units, boilers, and chillers, and coordinating with subcontractors and engineers.

A valid HVAC license, EPA/Universal license, and refrigerant certification are a plus. Expect on-site work, strong problem-solving ability, and the capacity to work independently or under direction.

Qualifications

• 5 years commercial experience in plumbing, HVAC and refrigeration
• Stable work history
• HVAC and brazing license a plus
• EPA or Universal License a plus
• Type 2 or Universal Refrigerant License
• HVAC chiller and boiler certifications a plus

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and solve HVAC rooftop units, make up air, boiler, chiller, and control system problems.
• Follow up with customers for quality assurance and ensures customers are 100% satisfied.
• Work independently with little direction and solve problems with factory/engineer/architect coordination.
• Attend job site and office meetings, prepare forms and requests for tools/equipment/material for each project.
• Identify and locate parts and suppliers and manage on-call paperwork in a timely manner.
• Be dependable and able to work in emergency situations when called.
• All other duties as assigned.
