Job summary

Mid-Ohio Air Conditioning is seeking a Commercial HVAC Service Technician to perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and start-up on commercial and industrial systems across Ohio. You will work with service coordinators, customers, and management to ensure reliable operation.

The role includes a Monday–Friday schedule, a company vehicle, tools, training, and a total compensation featuring $47–$52 per hour plus up to $8,000 in signing/retention bonuses.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing rooftop units, air handling units, chillers, boilers, and hydronic systems in commercial/industrial settings.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on commercial/industrial HVAC equipment (RTUs, AHUs, chillers, boilers, heat pumps, VAV systems) per specs.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical and controls failures; perform repairs and component replacement.
• Perform start-up and commissioning; verify refrigerant charge, airflow, and electrical connections; document results.
