Job summary

Mid-Ohio Air Conditioning is seeking a Commercial HVAC Service Technician to perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on commercial and industrial HVAC systems across Ohio. Strong technical skills, professionalism, and clear communication with customers and coordinators are essential.

Standard schedule is Monday–Friday with overtime opportunities; company vehicle, tools, and ongoing training provided. EPA 608 certification and a valid Ohio driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical/vocational training preferred.
• 5 to 12 years of experience as a commercial HVAC service technician.
• Experience servicing rooftops, AHUs, chillers, boilers, and hydronic systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on commercial HVAC systems.
• Document work via MOAC platforms; communicate with service coordinators and customers.
• Start-up, commissioning, and verifying system performance per design parameters.
• Complete required reports to the Service Coordinator in a timely manner.
• Adhere to safety policies and maintain EPA 608 compliance in the field.
