Job summary

Mid-Ohio Air Conditioning is seeking an Experienced HVAC Service Technician to perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on commercial and industrial systems across Ohio. You will work with a team, communicate with customers, and ensure safe, high-quality service daily.

The role offers a strong compensation package, a company vehicle, ongoing training, and opportunities for overtime. A valid Ohio driver’s license, EPA 608, OSHA 10 or 30, and a high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• Proficient in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting; read wiring diagrams, P&IDs, and specs.
• Knowledge of refrigerant recovery, charging, and leak detection.
• Familiarity with building automation and controls (DDC/BAS).
• Proficient with digital work order systems, tablets, and mobile apps; Microsoft Office experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, troubleshooting, repair, start-up, and commissioning on HVAC systems.
• Communicate effectively with service coordinators, customers, and management.
• Maintain documentation and compliance; ensure safety and quality in all tasks.
