Job summary

Accurate Mechanical in Columbus, OH is seeking an HVAC Commercial Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems, ensuring reliable operation and safety. You will work with clients to provide timely service solutions to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.

The role requires strong knowledge of refrigeration systems, electrical components, and the ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid HVAC technician certification or license as required by local regulations.
• Proven experience in commercial HVAC system repair and maintenance.
• Strong understanding of refrigeration systems and electrical components related to HVAC.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergency maintenance on commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems to ensure continuous operation.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using specialized tools and equipment, and implement effective repair solutions.
• Install, test, and commission new HVAC and refrigeration equipment according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
• Collaborate with clients to assess system performance, provide technical advice, and recommend upgrades or replacements when necessary.
• Maintain accurate service records, document repairs, and communicate effectively with team members and management regarding service status and parts inventory.
