Job summary

JL Anderson Heating and Cooling is seeking an Experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join our Lafayette-based team. You will diagnose and repair a variety of commercial HVAC equipment, service rooftops, VRF systems, boilers, VAV, and controls while reading blueprints and wiring diagrams.

Qualifications

Three years of commercial HVAC service experience.
EPA Universal Certification required.
NATE certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair commercial HVAC equipment.
Service rooftop units, VRF systems, boilers, VAV systems, split systems, and controls.
Troubleshoot refrigeration, electrical, pneumatic, and electronic control systems.
Perform startups, testing, commissioning, and preventive maintenance.
Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documents.
Document repairs and communicate recommendations with customers.
Maintain a safe and professional work environment.
