Job summary

JL Anderson Heating and Cooling is seeking an Experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join our Lafayette-based team. You will diagnose and repair a variety of commercial HVAC equipment, service rooftops, VRF systems, boilers, VAV, and controls while reading blueprints and wiring diagrams.

This full-time role offers overtime potential and a supportive, growth-focused environment. We value hands-on technicians with strong diagnostic skills who can work independently and communicate

Qualifications

• Three years of commercial HVAC service experience.
• EPA Universal Certification required.
• NATE certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair commercial HVAC equipment.
• Service rooftop units, VRF systems, boilers, VAV systems, split systems, and controls.
• Troubleshoot refrigeration, electrical, pneumatic, and electronic control systems.
• Perform startups, testing, commissioning, and preventive maintenance.
• Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documents.
• Document repairs and communicate recommendations with customers.
• Maintain a safe and professional work environment.

• Ability to work independently
• Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record
