MK Mechanical LLC is seeking a Senior Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join our Indian Trail, NC team. This hands-on role involves diagnosing, servicing, and maintaining a range of commercial HVAC systems on-site for diverse clients, with a focus on quality craftsmanship and safety.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of field experience, EPA 608 universal certification, and strong knowledge of refrigeration, electrical systems, and controls.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on commercial HVAC service and repair experience.
• NATE certification or equivalent trade credentials a plus.
• EPA 608 Universal Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC systems including rooftop units, chillers, air handlers, and refrigeration equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and service agreements on commercial accounts.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration system failures efficiently and accurately.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and equipment manuals.
• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to customers and management.
• Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and parts documentation.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior technicians in the field.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, EPA regulations, and local codes.

MK Mechanical LLC is looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team in Indian Trail, NC. This is a hands‑on role where your expertise will be put to work diagnosing, servicing, and maintaining commercial HVAC systems for a variety of clients. Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC systems including rooftop units, chillers, air handlers, and refrigeration equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and service agreements on commercial accounts
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration system failures efficiently and accurately
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and equipment manuals
• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to customers and management

Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands‑on commercial HVAC service and repair experience
• Industrial HVAC experience a PLUS.
• EPA 608 Universal Certification required
• Strong knowledge of commercial refrigeration, electrical systems, and controls
• Experience with rooftop units, split systems, VRF systems, Chillers, Boilers.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize service calls
• Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor
• NATE certification or equivalent trade credentials a plus
