Jobot in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Senior Commercial HVAC Service Technician to troubleshoot, diagnose, service and repair a range of Commercial and Industrial HVAC systems. This field-based role requires comfort working independently and resolving complex mechanical, electrical and refrigerant issues.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of Commercial/Industrial HVAC service experience, strong troubleshooting abilities, and EPA Universal Certification with a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Commercial/Industrial HVAC service experience.
• Strong HVAC troubleshooting and diagnostics skills.
• Experience servicing RTUs, Rooftop Units, Packaged Units and DX Systems.
• Strong Refrigeration and Electrical Troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read Electrical Schematics and Wiring Diagrams.
• EPA Universal Certification and valid Driver's License.

Job Details

We are seeking an experienced Senior Commercial HVAC Service Technician to troubleshoot, diagnose, service and repair Commercial and Industrial HVAC Systems. This is a field-based Service role for someone who is comfortable working independently, diagnosing complex Mechanical, Electrical and Refrigeration issues, and servicing a variety of Commercial HVAC equipment.

MUST HAVE:

• 5+ Years of Commercial/Industrial HVAC Service experience
• Strong HVAC Troubleshooting and Diagnostics experience
• Experience servicing RTUs, Rooftop Units, Packaged Units and DX Systems
• Strong Refrigeration and Electrical Troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read Electrical Schematics and Wiring Diagrams
• EPA Universal Certification
• Valid Driver's License

NICE TO HAVE:

• Boiler experience
• Chiller experience
• AHUs and Chilled Water Systems
• Cooling Towers
• BAS/Controls or DDC experience
• VFD and VAV troubleshooting
• CRAC Units
• Trane, Carrier, York/JCI, Daikin or Mitsubishi experience
