Job summary

Mid‑South Equipment Sales is seeking a talented Commercial HVAC Equipment Sales Executive with 5+ years of sales and leadership experience. This outside sales role will sell commercial and industrial HVAC equipment and systems to owners, engineers, architects, contractors and consultants.

You will build and manage long‑term customer relationships with accounts and manufacturers, working with a team to deliver high‑quality solutions. Must be able to work in office and in the field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• HVAC, Mechanical Contracting, Engineering or Construction industry experience required.
• Excellent initiative and interpersonal communication skills; ability to influence others.
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and manage high-volume projects.
• Strong PC skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates technical expertise to develop credibility and trust with customers.
• Determine project needs and requirements for HVAC system design and installation.
• Prepare, present, and negotiate bids; close sales.
• Influence system design with credible estimates, bids, proposals and cost/benefit analysis.
• Manage multiple long-term projects focusing on selling HVAC equipment, service and systems.
• Build partnerships with customers and contractor manufacturers; understand customer business.
