Spectrum AC is seeking a Lead Construction HVAC Technician in Mangonia Park, FL to join our commercial HVAC construction team. This role blends hands-on rooftop work with growing leadership responsibilities on reroofing and upgrade projects, guiding crews and coordinating with project managers to stay on schedule and maintain safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of commercial HVAC installation or construction experience.
• Experience with rooftop equipment, curbs, penetrations, and RTUs.
• Ability to read construction drawings and coordinate with multiple trades.
• Willingness to mentor others and lead crews.

Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee commercial HVAC installation on rooftops and equipment replacements.
• Coordinate daily activities of HVAC technicians and subcontractors.
• Work with project managers to keep schedules and quality.
• Lead training and mentoring of less experienced technicians.
• Ensure safety and compliance with codes.
• Conduct jobsite inspections to identify issues early.
• Communicate with project managers, subcontractors, and field personnel.
• Maintain clean, organized, professional jobsite.
• Support material management and project coordination as needed.
