Your Role

As a Commercial HVAC Maintenance and Service Technician, you'll inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of commercial heating and cooling systems while helping customers maximize equipment performance and minimize downtime.

You'll work independently in the field while receiving strong support from our operations and leadership teams.

Typical Equipment Includes

• Rooftop units (RTUs)

• Commercial package units

• Split systems

• Heat pumps

• VRF and VRV systems

• Boilers

• Chillers

• Pumps

• Make-up air units

• Exhaust systems

• Building controls and related mechanical equipment

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, and airflow issues

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance

• Repair commercial HVAC equipment efficiently and accurately

• Start up, test, and verify proper system operation

• Identify additional repair and replacement opportunities when appropriate

• Complete detailed electronic service documentation

• Communicate findings and recommendations with customers and facility managers

• Maintain company safety standards and industry best practices

• Coordinate with dispatch and internal teams to provide outstanding customer service

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of commercial HVAC service experience preferred

• Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC equipment and mechanical systems

• Experience servicing RTUs, package units, split systems, boilers, chillers, VRF systems, and commercial controls is highly preferred

• Excellent electrical and refrigeration troubleshooting skills

• EPA Certification required

• Additional industry certifications are a plus

• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record

• Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
