Elliott-Lewis is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Installer with 15+ years of hands-on installation, replacement, and commissioning for commercial facilities in New Jersey. This is a union role; we welcome non-union candidates who are interested in becoming unionized.
You will lead journeymen and apprentices, supervise crews, and coordinate with Project Managers and customers while ensuring code compliance and quality standards on challenging retrofit and new installations.
Competenze
- 15+ years hands-on HVAC installation experience.
- Experience with Commercial RTUs, AHUs, VRF/VRV, boilers, chillers, cooling towers, and hydronic piping.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Leadership experience overseeing journeymen and apprentices.
- OSHA10 completed and valid driver’s license.
- Experience working in occupied commercial buildings (healthcare, industrial, institutional).
Mansioni
- Install commercial HVAC equipment and associated piping/ductwork.
- Perform equipment changeouts and retrofit projects.
- Collaborate with crane picks and rigging operations.
- Complete startup and commissioning activities.
- Ensure work meets code requirements and company quality standards.
- Provide leadership over journeymen and apprentices; supervise crews.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Subcontractors, and customers.
