Job summary

Peak Mechanical is seeking a Commercial HVAC Foreman to lead on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems across commercial sites in the DFW area. You will supervise field crews, coordinate tasks, read blueprints, and ensure compliance with codes and safety standards.

You’ll mentor technicians and apprentices, manage schedules, and maintain quality across university facilities, office buildings, retail, and industrial projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial HVAC installation experience.
• 2+ years in a leadership or supervisory role preferred.
• Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems and controls.
• Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings.
• Familiarity with local building codes and safety regulations.
• Valid driver's license (CDL may be a plus).
• EPA certification required (Universal preferred).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead HVAC crews on commercial construction and retrofit projects.
• Plan, coordinate, and assign daily tasks to field personnel.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications.
• Ensure all HVAC installations comply with local, state, and federal codes.
• Monitor project progress and adjust schedules to meet deadlines.
• Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, and other trades.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate HVAC technicians and apprentices.
• Enforce company safety policies and OSHA regulations on job sites.
• Inspect work to ensure quality standards are met on every project.
• Manage materials, tools, and equipment on-site.
• Troubleshoot and resolve installation or system issues as they arise.
• Maintain accurate job documentation, reports, and time tracking.
