Job summary

Portland Glass is seeking a Project Manager for Commercial Glazing to lead projects from handoff through closeout. You will develop schedules, manage budgets, and coordinate with architects, general contractors, and suppliers to deliver high-quality glazing systems.

The role requires 3+ years in commercial glazing or building envelope, strong AutoCAD skills, ability to read drawings, and experience with ERP and estimating tools.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Project Management experience within the commercial glass, glazing, curtain wall, storefront, or building envelope industry.
• Proven track record managing commercial construction projects from initial award and engineering through closeout.
• Strong understanding of construction contracts, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and schedule of values.
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and shop drawings.
• Advanced AutoCAD proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from start to finish, including handoff, planning, and closeout.
• Develop schedules, milestones, manpower plans, and deliverables.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement solutions to keep projects on track.
• Develop and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and cost tracking.
• Review contracts, change orders, and scope to ensure financial success.
• Oversee development and procurement of shop drawings and project docs.
• Coordinate purchasing activities and vendor relationships.
