A Charleston, SC–based commercial glazing contractor seeks an experienced Project Manager to oversee projects from award through closeout. You will coordinate with general contractors, architects, engineers, suppliers, and field teams, managing submittals, budgets, procurement, and documentation to ensure on-time, profitable delivery.

  • Strong knowledge of commercial glazing systems, including curtain wall, storefront, entrances, windows, and architectural glass.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Manage commercial glazing projects from contract award through completion and closeout.
  • Review contracts, architectural drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
  • Coordinate with general contractors, architects, engineers, suppliers, subcontractors, and field installation teams.
  • Manage submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, material procurement, change orders, and project documentation.
  • Monitor project budgets, schedules, costs, and profitability.
  • Coordinate material purchasing and deliveries to ensure projects remain on schedule.
  • Work closely with field teams to resolve installation and coordination issues.
  • Attend project meetings and provide regular updates to clients and stakeholders.
  • Identify scope gaps, project risks, and potential change-order opportunities.
  • Coordinate closely with estimating during project handoff.
  • Maintain accurate project records and documentation.
  • Manage punch lists, project closeout, warranties, and final documentation.

Commercial Glazing Project Manager Location: Charleston, SC Job Type: Full-Time

An established commercial glazing contractor in the Charleston market is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its team. The company specializes in commercial glass and glazing projects, working with general contractors, developers, architects, and owners across a diverse range of commercial construction projects. The Project Manager will oversee projects from contract award through completion, taking responsibility for project coordination, scheduling, procurement, budgets, documentation, and client relationships. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of commercial glazing systems and the ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining strong relationships with customers and project partners.
